General Information
Ascham participates in the IPSHA Flippa Ball and Water Polo Competition in Term 1. All matches are held on a Saturday morning. Students from Years 4, 5 and 6, with a competent swimming ability, are able to participate in this competition. Students will need to attend all training sessions and all Saturday matches.
Please note that the registration form for Term 1 Team Sports will be released in Week 2 of Term 4.

General Information
Ascham participates in the MLC Water Polo competition that runs in Term 3. All matches are held at MLC School on Friday evenings. Students from Years 7–12, with any ability from beginners to advanced are able to participate in this competition. Students can participate in this competition in conjunction with a Winter Saturday Team Sport. Students will need to attend all Friday matches. MLC is limited with the number of teams they can enter. Registrations will be accepted in order of completion.
Please note that enrolments for the MLC Water Polo competition will be included in the Term 3 Co-curricular Sport Form that will be released in Week 2 of Term 2.

Uniform
Training and Matches
Ascham Water Polo costume and swimming caps must be worn at training and games. Ascham PE uniform is to be worn over their Water Polo costume for the games. Thongs are permitted.

MS Teams
All information regarding Water Polo for students will occur on MS Teams. Students will be added to both their individual MS Team as well as the general Water Polo Team.

Updates
All updates regarding teams will be posted in their individual MS Team. This could include wet weather updates, venue updates, training updates etc. It is recommended that students download the MS Teams app on their phone and enable notifications so they can receive updates promptly.
Absences
Students are required to use the ‘Absences’ channel to inform their Coach, Head Coach and Sports Administrator that their are unable to make a training or match. The Sports Department asks that as much notice as possible is given for absences, particularly for matches. Students should write the date they will be absent and where possible the reason.
Tagging
Students are asked that when they write a message in their Team, that they tag the relevant people. To tag someone, type the ‘@’ symbol and then write either the relevant person’s name or the Team’s name to inform the whole group.
Online Behaviour
As outlined in Ascham’s IT policy, students must adhere to appropriate online behaviour. We ask that comments are carefully considered before posting.
