Ascham participates in the Year 3 Netball Competition in Term 2. Students from Year 3, with any ability from beginners to advanced, are able to participate in this competition. Students will need to attend all training sessions and all Saturday matches.
Please note that the registration form for Term 2 Team Sports will be released in Week 2 of Term 1.

MS Teams
All information regarding Netball for students will occur on MS Teams. Students will be added to both their individual MS Team as well as the general Netball Team.
Please see below some important information regarding MS Teams.
Updates
All updates regarding teams will be posted in their individual MS Team. This could include wet weather updates, venue updates, training updates etc. It is recommended that students download the MS Teams app on their phone and enable notifications so they can receive updates promptly.
Absences
Students are required to use the ‘Absences’ channel to inform their Coach, Head Coach and Sports Administrator that their are unable to make a training or match. The Sports Department asks that as much notice as possible is given for absences, particularly for matches. Students should write the date they will be absent and where possible the reason.
Tagging
Students are asked that when they write a message in their Team, that they tag the relevant people. To tag someone, type the ‘@’ symbol and then write either the relevant person’s name or the Team’s name to inform the whole group.
Online Behaviour
As outlined in Ascham’s IT policy, students must adhere to appropriate online behaviour. We ask that comments are carefully considered before posting.

Ascham participates in the IGSA Netball competition that runs from the start of Term 2 until the end of Term 3. All matches are held on a Saturday morning at various venues across Sydney and Bowral. Students from Years 7–12, with any ability from beginners to advanced, are able to participate in this competition. Students will need to attend all training sessions and all Saturday matches. Please note this is a two-term commitment.
Please note that the registration form for Winter Team Sports will be released in Week 3 of Term 1.

Training Schedule

Students participating in Winter Team Sports will be required to attend their compulsory session/s and are recommended to attend the designated optional skills development session.
Year 7: Students will train on a Monday or Thursday after School or potentially any morning before School.
Junior (Years 8 and 9): Students will train on a Monday or Thursday after School or potentially any morning before School.
Senior (Years 10–12): Students will train on a Wednesday or Friday after School or potentially any morning before School.
Uniform
Training
Either the Ascham Sports Uniform or Ascham Training Uniform can be worn to training. Students must not wear non-Ascham attire.
