Girls develop an understanding of the importance of caring for others, social awareness, supporting a number of charities through various collections, charity and mufti days. Fiona Girls also act as ambassadors for SchoolAid’s KidsGive, Australia’s first crowdfunding platform for kids which empowers school-aged children to make a tangible difference in lives of others.
Year 6 Girls work with Our Big Kitchen, learning how meals are prepared and distributed to the needy.
Girls in Years 10-12 have the opportunity to take part in the annual Service Learning trip.
Throughout the year students from Years 7-12 are invited to participate as volunteers in events such as the Salvation Army’s Red Shield Appeal, the Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day, the Surry Hills Festival and other one off community festivals and events.
