Every Ascham parent and legal guardian is a member of the APA. The Association has a President, and Executive and a Committee, made up of between 30 and 40 parents from Hillingdon, Fiona and the Senior School. It also has Year Parents, who are responsible for organising events for their particular Year group.
The APA Committee and Year Parents meet each term, organising events and activities that contribute to the development of a happy and united School community. These events include the Annual APA Cocktail Party, APA Family & Tennis Day, parent morning teas and get-togethers and the End of Year Festive Market. The APA also runs the pop up second-hand uniform store twice each term and provides support to Ascham families in need.
Funds raised by the APA are used to assist in improving the School’s facilities, provide support to Ascham families in need and make donations to selected charities. The Committee is always happy to hear from parents who would wish to become involved in the School community, and new members of the APA Committee are welcomed at the beginning of each year.
