Student ID Card

Student ID Card

Students in Years 5 and above are issued with a Student ID card. This occurs either when your daughter enters Year 5 in Junior School, or when she joins Ascham in a grade higher than Year 5.

Her ID card has her name, Student ID, and photo printed onto the front and will allow her to:

  • Access some buildings and security gates (at certain times), depending on whether she is a Day Girl or Boarder
  • Access print, scan, and photocopy services on campus printers.
  • Load money onto the card for printing services and to purchase food in the Ascham Dining Hall.

Student Card Photos

Student ID Card photos are the most recent student photo available at the time of printing.

Students in Year 5, and other students new to the School, may receive a temporary card at the beginning of Term 1. This will be replaced with a permanent card once the student photos are available.

What Happens if My Daughter Loses Her Card, or It Stops Working?

Lost Student ID cards can be replaced at the IT Help Desk. There is a cost of $25 to replace the card which will be charged at the next fee statement. Therefore its recommended to make certain the card is lost before requesting a new one. Once the new card is printed the old card will stop working so it should be disposed of (if found after being replaced).

If her Student ID card stops working for any reason, please bring it to the IT Help Desk. You are not charged for the replacement of a faulty card.

How Do I Add Money to the MyMonitor Account to Purchase from the Dining Room?

  1. Go to MyMonitor by clicking on this link https://mymonitor.ascham.nsw.edu.au/mymonitor
  2. Enter your Ascham Username and Password.
  3. Click Sign In
  4. If this is your first time accessing mymonitor, you will see a dropdown box asking you to select a parent or student account. Please select student.
  5. The main screen will show your account and balance which will be 0 on your first login.
  6. Please click on Add Value
  7. Enter the amount that you would like to top up and choose to remember the card if it’s the first time using a card > click Pay > enter your credit card details > Next > Continue – Note: Visa and Mastercard only, AMEX not accepted

What Doors and Gates can Students Access with their Student ID Card?

All students can access:

  • The Uniform Shop Gate
  • Duntrim Driveway Pedestrian Gate
  • Octagon Road Pedestrian Gate
  • Halse Rogers (double door entrance)
  • Halse Rogers Maker Space door
  • Wallis Entry Gate

 

Boarding Students can access (although Boarders may not have access to everything):

  • Octagon Road Pedestrian Gate (exit)
  • Duntrim Main Entrance
  • Duntrim Boarding Ground East Entrance
  • Duntrim Boarding Ground Games Room
  • Duntrim Boarding Ground West Entrance
  • Duntrim Boarding Level 1 Reading Room
  • Duntrim Boarding Level 1 Common Room
  • Macintosh Boarding Front Door
  • PJ Boarding Entry Gate
  • PJ Boarding Dorm Entry
  • Raine Boarding Front Door
